When two visionary people meet with a well defined mission, they revolutionize the world

Maybe many of us might not have met Dan Larimer and Ned Scott in person but #steemit, their brainchild, has revolutionized the world. It has impacted you and I and drastically has changed our #lifestyle.

It may have started when Ned Scott stumbled, I may say accidentally upon what Dan Larimer was doing about #Bitshares. Dan says, that it was the fear of #Bitcoin dying due to the #governments shutting down #exchanges and seizing #bank #accounts that prompted the decision of forming bitshares to save and salvage bitcoin from this sudden death. So Ned stumbled across his work and his intuition spoke to him. It told him that the two can work together. Ned, an #economics and #psychology student in Bates college,knew when the deal was so good to take it by the horns rather than thinking twice. They worked together online before meeting in person in 2016 and steemit was born.

Dan Larimer held a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in #computer #engineering at Virginia Tech. This he attained after undergoing a thorough training between 2000 and 2003. Dan, alias @dantheman is not only a visionary programmer at Bitshares but holds and has held other positions in many other successful companies

And so steemit came into force with its headquarters in Virginia. It boasts over 500,000 accounts with a big boom of #currency exchanging hands and #blockchains.

In March, 15, 2017, Dan resigned Steemit, Inc with a post - Today I submitted my Resignation to Steemit, inc - published in his Steemit account.
