That is a awesome post from @oflyhigh. I am surprised that steemit has not announced it on their portal as well as I have checked but no prior notice of sort - maybe an oversight.

This a cool development for a stronger uprising. Developers will have a field day, though change is uncommon even if its a line of code...

However, I believe we should all brace up for updates and changes that will reposition Steemit and the community. Its a new year with freshness running in its vein. All developers are advised to make the necessary adjustment as soon as possible.
