Thanks Amoni. About the picture with the dog, I had to go back and check again as I was sure it was in the top left corner. ;) The dog looks really relaxed, sleeping and perhaps inspecting the work done by the humans.
Sand is normally the best option as it will be compact but still with some flexibility. If cement is used the risk is that it will break after some time and create both ugly and uncomfortable cracks.
Thanks for accepting my entry sir @danielsaori. About the positioning of the dog, I was actually thinking left corner but wrote right corner, thanks for the observation.
About the cement stuff, I'm just knowing that for the 1st time, wow.
