Update: STEEMIT CHAT
The past 2 days the steemit chat has been offline due to the increased amount of new users on the platform. They worked hard to get it back up again and are nearly there! The chat is almost functional but in the meanwhile you can get on the chat on this link: http://steemit.chat
There is a side note; it isn't a secure one like before. So beware of that when you use it! The chat is functional and you can share your posts, chat with others and do what you normally do. This is already a great step in the right direction and the secure server should be up soon as well!

its great to see its back up but there's just way to many new members posting their same article every 5 minutes !! Totally spamming and its putting way more strain on the system then it should be ! Right now its @neo and @megatht over and over clogging and spamming the Chanel , its hard for us to find good posts to up vote , and its taking longer then it should !! Why isn't anyone monitoring the post promotion Chanel like they used to !! Its supposed to be only every 2hours per post !! There are many fellow steemians saying the same thing , we used to get down voted for this shit ! LOL !
