Hello everyone, nice to see you all gathered here, around this lovely #SteemitCampfire.
I had a really good week. It was my first week working in a school situated in the same city where I myself live. Usually I’m teaching in a small rural school in a village just across the county border. But, as many of my colleagues at the city school are on vacation this week – and will be away from work for a month or two during the summer, I was transferred to this larger school to cover for them. I enjoy cycling to and from work instead of commuting by train and bus. I enjoyed meeting new students and sharing with them my knowledge of Swedish language, personal finances, Internet, and productivity software suite. I also enjoy the fact that I can meet a larger number of my friends from among the colleagues in the city school on a daily basis. A few of them now own Bitcoin and Ethereum and two even started diversifying into Dash and Litecoin. And this week one of them (@hirabe) has finally joined Steemit, yay! Another one joined last week, but hasn't posted anything yet.
I had one evening lesson with my private student earlier this week. I’ve been to the gym three times this week. I sold some MUE and increased my holdings of Bitcoin. I ended up among top winners of three different contests here on Steemit (won one and finished 3rd in two others) and started one contest of my own. I authored 5 posts on my blog on Steemit this week
Kiva hit a major milestone yesterday, with 1 Billion USD lent since its inception 12 years ago. It made me very happy, as I’ve a lender on Kiva for the past 8 years and did my summer fellowship with them last year.
And – this is the awesome part – the weekend came early this week: already on Friday, since Midsummer celebrations broke out all over Sweden earlier today.
All in all, it’s been a fantastic week! I feel accomplished, fulfilled and content with my life. I feel like I have right to relax this weekend and play computer games! :))

Always nice to hear a teacher who still has that spark in them to love what they do, and help make the world a better place by helping the future generations. Personal finance is such an important skill in life to have learned, I wish they put more focuses on its importance here in America.

Thank you, Barry! Yes, I’ve been living in Sweden since 2006. But nearly every summer I usually spend a few weeks to few months living and working (or studying) somewhere abroad. It was Germany in 2009, in countries around the Baltic Sea in 2011, in Japan in 2015, in California, Russia and Tajikistan last year. This summer I’m heading to South Korea and Japan, yay! :D
