Prepping for the New Year

I know this is a very cliche topic especially when we're nearing the end of the year. Waooo....where have 2018 gone to?? You'll probably see a lot of this topic popping up sooner or later on Steemit but I just want to get to know you all better by getting a glance of your future plans. Or if you haven't thought about it, I think it's always good to give it a thought, to have some sort of goal, dream or plans that you want to execute in 2019.

Do not be constrained to just words in this week's contest, you may use all forms to tell your 2019 story. Use music, photos, write in poem or even paint. Let loose and go crazy.

3. You can use all sorts of writing genre or medium, eg. vlog, drawing, photography... get creative.

Well, this was a bit of a tough one to think about... mostly because I'm not the one that makes resolutions or anything like that at the change of the year. For me the beginning of the New Year is a bit like the day before and the day after... So, I guess I would be talking more about vague goals for the next year instead!

While I can't say I usually take the opportunity to make a lot of specific New Year's resolutions, I am always a fan of goal setting at all points in the year. Obviously in my line of work as a trainer it is really important for my clients to have goals to be able to work towards as far as health and fitness goes. If you don't have goals, how do you know if you are improving?

Oh, dear, do you have any idea of the amount of things I need/want to change in my life? Let's just say there are a LOT of things that I would be happy to change; the real question is what do I really want to put forth the effort to change? Because that's what holds us back, isn't it? EFFORT.

If I don't put forth the effort to change -- and don't intend on doing so -- any New Year's Resolution I put forth will mean nothing.
