If you have been on Steemit for quite a while now then you will know what it means to be a blogger. A blogger blogs. Blogging is a fancy word for just putting down your thoughts on the internet. Like a diary of some sorts. You can decide to blog about almost anything you wish and you will find people who enjoy such.

Since the discovery of the internet, there has been a surge of bloggers. Also as websites like blogspot, wordpress etc emerged and offered free blogs, many writers have taken up the obligation of blogging. While there has been recorded success stories of people who excelled in ordinary blogging, the challenges militating against success has been too many till date.

On steemit however, blogging has taken a whole new definition. It has become decentralized. This automatically gives everyone a relatively equal chance of getting noticed for their blogs. You get instant benefits for your efforts. You dont need advertising. You meet an awesome community and you are investing in cryptocurrencies (the future of the world) all at the same time. Now let me tell you some things that a Steemit Blogger is not;

• Not some hungry dude out there looking for Google Adwords to promote his blog.

• Not some angry chick trying so hard to be the next Linda Ikeji through her Google Adsense account. Naahh!

• Not even those people scouring the net everyday for one news or the other to dump on the readers but end uphaving 3views (him, his father and friend)...lolx.

I'm a STEEEMIT BLOGGER! And you should be too...

And I frigging say that with every sense of pride I can muster. Perhaps I should repeat it again. this time with my CAPS lock on!

I'M A #STEEMITBLOGGER, A #BLOCKCHAIN-BLOGGER... NOT AN ORDINARY BLOGGER!

Outside Steemit, its actually not easy to be a blogger. The entire blogosphere is saturated. You have to put in years and years of serious work and even at that you need frigging luck. So much luck to excel. Sometimes even the luck may not help you coz there are so many wolves and hyenas out there. Its a frigging jungle!

Here are the problems with being an ordinary blogger:

• You need to buy a domain name

• You need to pay a web designer. The free blogs are not taken serious

• You need to think about hosting for your blog

• You need to work excessively hard and over an excessively long time

• You need to know somebody that knows somebody

• You need finances to promote your blog

• You need to learn SEO optimization, Adsense, Adwords and other jargons

• You may lose at the end and give up after wasting half your life

You see, years ago, I was actually an ordinary blogger. To say I suffered is just grazing the surface of my problems. Everything I listed above has happened to me. You know that moment when you are putting in so much efforts into something but yet you ain't making a kobo/cent from it. That was me friends. So you can imagine my joy when I found Steemit.

Here you can start making money the moment you walk in. It takes nothing but posting quality stuff, consistency and connecting to soar high. But the Steemit platform is beyond just financial benefits. Here are some of the other major benefits;

• You get to make friends from all over the world and support each other as you ascend the ladder of success. Its so easy!

• You get a chance to invest in cryptocurrencies. In few years to come you would be happy you did.

• You learn alot from others about cryptos, life, art, science...etcz. Infact this place is like a school.

• You don't need to host a blog, do SEO optimization, Adsense, Adwords or any of all that shizzle. They have been done for you. Just blog.

There are way too many advantages that I can't even continue listing them. Perhaps you have to discover more uses as you utilize the platform more and more.
