The beauty of fynbos

The Cape is famous for its wonderful indigenous flora and at this time of year we see the landscape bursting forth with such glorious colours and textures.

It is no wonder that people come to the Cape from all over the world to witness the beauty to be found at this time of year.

Here in Cape Town, many people in the suburbs do not mow their grass by the pavements as the wild spring flowers pop up there in spring and look so beautiful - I love to see this as it makes me happy to know there are people that appreciate the wonderful wild flowers.
