100 DAYS OF STEEM - THE DIARY GAME. Into the Green. 14th June 2020.

After a week on the books for my daughter's year-end exams, this Sunday must be dedicated to something beautiful and above all in contact with nature.
Yes today we have to regenerate and be outdoors in the green.
About fifteen km from my house there is a wwf nature reserve where you can make beautiful walks.
It is a dense forest typical of the Mediterranean scrub that ends overlooking the sea.

Sneakers on the feet and ready for the excursion.

The paths are in the dirt and always covered with leaves, in every season of the year.
The vegetation is very dense and often the sun cannot penetrate the trees and I must say that it makes a light cool to wear a jacket.

Every time we visit this reserve we take many photos. Especially my daughters and then they complain that they don't have enough space on the cell phone memory.

Beyond the fence that delimits the walkable paths, there are some slightly steep parts where it is deny to enter. You can see a somewhat particular tree trunk in this pic, it is one of the many cork trees spread throughout the forest.

Walking in an area surrounded by a lot of vegetation immediately makes you feel better, you breathe an air different from the one in the city, you fill yourself with energy and a good mood.
At a certain point the thick wood ends and you find yourself in front of a huge flowery meadow.

Leaving the flowery meadow behind, you can start feeling the sea breeze.
Beyond this ancient tower of the Romans, then used over the centuries as a fort to defend against attacks by enemies from the sea, here the panorama changes completely.

The color of the sky becomes one with the sea.
It is a spectacle of nature and you stay a while to watch it, enraptured by distant thoughts.

After our walk I thought to brighten my daughters' day by having lunch at McDonald's which is on the way back home.
But I did a little experiment by taking a picture of them before and after I told the news.

In short, their reaction is easily understood even if in reality it is only their shadow.🤔😂

And here the usual tray with their favorite sandwiches, the mcchicken, french fries, coca cola and milk shake one with cocoa and one with strawberry.

I know eating in fast food is not very healthy, however you can occasionally make an exception to the rule.

It was my Sunday, once I got home, immediately on the books to help my daughter study for the exam. Fortunately we are almost there.
