To correct you,without offending you I was aiming for a Boetti approach to this piece. something more pop than Picasso. But still a compliment is a compliment and I thank you for that.

ah I see, well while I love art i'm no artist (in the traditional sense as the art world tends to ignore the artistic merit of crochet because it's a craft) so i get a real kick from seeing other peoples work especially when it veers towards the abstract and surrealism.
I really like your choice of colours and enjoyed seeing the process.
Every time I look at this piece I see something new, it's fabulous.
I haven't sketched or painted in years but I suddenly have the urge to pick up a pencil and see what happens.
