Great ideas, both of your points are something I will investigate further. On first thought.
- The nature of the Steem blockchain necessitates that all SD transactions can be followed. Aside from converting to BTC for the author, which is something I may consider in the future. This is the most transparent way to ensure authors get paid.
Solution?: They may request to receive the funds @poloneix or another exchange using their deposit reference code which is more anonymous. - I will look into even more robust communication solutions in the future depending on the success of the service.
Confidential transfers are on the roadmap, so this problem will have a solution on the blockchain in time.
That is exciting to hear @smooth, confidential tx's are one thing that could put Steem head and shoulders above BTC and ETH/ETC. In fact it could rocket us to the #1 spot on coinmarketcap. Hopefully, there is enough interest in this kind of service. It saddens me to see authors get only a portion of their earnings because of lack of compitition in anon posting services.
