Family Time | Creating Upside Down Memories

In a Family Love is spelled Time. Family time is not a matter of convenience it is a matter of priority.
As parents we sometimes neglect giving time to our kids. We always make sure that we can provide what they need. Of course basic needs that every child requires like food,clothing,education, shelter and other stuff. In our busy schedule we sometimes couldn't stop and look at our kids and ask them how they are doing.
Here are some list of the negative effects of not spending time with your kids.
Emotional Distress- kids who spends the rest of his time alone tend to be more emotionally distress than his peers. The lack of communication of a parent and a child affects his self esteem and tends to be bullied in school.
Have a difficulty at school academically- kids who doesn't spend time with their parents don't have the chance to answer assignments and practice reading. They are most likely to do stuff alone or not doing it.
Risky behavior- children who doesn't spend time with their parents tend to have abrupt decision. Since they don't need parents approval with decisions they do risky actions like antisocial behavior, aggression, delinquency and relationships.
Less communication-it would be harder for the child to open up since there is already a gap between parent and a child. A child would sometimes see his parents a stranger because of not being always there when they wanted someone to talk to.
How how having time for your kids affect them?
Belongingness- having their parents spending time with them they feel they are loved. They feel they are important and wanted, they belong in a family that treasures them.
Role Model- based they have a concrete role model to look up to. Seeing their parents how they make things possible, being a busy working mom/dad but still juggles his time to have a chat with his kids is someone to idolize.
Openness- Having able to talk to your kids and communicate makes them open up easily. They feel comfortable to tell their worries at school and what bothers them. And they can ask for advise when you want to decide on something.
Stronger Bond- parents who spend time with their kids are happier same as their kids. There is a bond with the parent and the child that can never be replaced by anything.
So as a parent as I always say in my previous blogs, I always take the time to spend it with my kids. Even in a very short or limited time I have I bond with them. So as my husband, he has been afar for 10 months.
Today we are taking the kids to a fun and exciting place where they can explore and be imaginative. Welcome to the UPSIDE DOWN MUSEUM. This museum is located at City Time Square just across Park Mall Mandaue City. Well you don't need to go to the moon to experience zero gravity and be able to float.
The Upside down Museum cost 250 for the adults and 170 for kids 6-12, 5 below are free of charge. When we got inside I was already very excited how things work. I was imagining already how will I get good shots. Do I have to jump,or do something extraordinary? Questions that puzzled me since I wondered how can someone go upside down.
Upon entering you'll be welcomed with very accommodating and kind staff. In each room you'll be entering there will be a staff who is assigned to be your assistant. They guide you on how to get good pictures. What poses to do and they take the pictures too.
Each rooms has different themes. but most of it is inside a house. The kids really loved it, they felt like they were just at home. They can just run and play. They will take 2-3 shots depending on your likeness,if you ask for more then they would. They will assist you all throughout the museum. Once you are done taking pictures in the whole place you can have an unlimited stay if you still want more pictures.
Couldn't count how many pictures I could take in this place, it was just so much fun. I felt like a kid again, my husband enjoyed it too. The place is not that big though but spacious enough. What is very recommendable is how the clerks treat their customer. They were always smiling and child friendly. They were very patient since my son was so playful and he sometime doesn't cooperate in the pictures. But they patiently wait till we get to have a perfect shot.
I really recommend this to family who wish to spend time with their kids. It's affordable and enjoyable place to be.
