MY RAGGED MAGDALENE

Magdalene, you audiciously ragged fool
Even Dirtier than a sheep’s coat of wool
Shards of glass are stuck on your dedicate back
The innocence, the sanity and the dignity you lack
A tenebrous crepuscule has downed upon you
Making live to wolves that bay so true
The caliginous hooded figure had you sold
With your fantasies away they rolled
The soiled veins of epiphany have grown
Around you, Magdalene, so alone
Gingerly keeping your jar full of tears
Locked behind the darkest of midnights for years
You were not bound to be in this rusty chains
And tonight as it silently rains
Picking up a beautiful glistening blade
Your tainted memories fade
