IMAGINE THE WORLD WITHOUT LIGHTS

If the world has no light, we certainly sleep when we see the sunset. I lived in the mountain before that is surrounded by the hills making it impossible to have an electricity. If moon shines brighter, we will go out to play tumbang preso. Studying in the night was rare to happen, so we always sought ways to study during the day. If there was a celebration that extended in the night, people used gas then put it inside the bottle, roll the pieces of cut boxes tightly, inversioning the bottle so that the cartoon paper sips the gas. Then it shines through the dark but its smoke causes mess and dark spots on the wall and ceiling.

Since we had a wooden house, we used a small lamp for our safety.

We can use it longer because we used a soft fabric that sips the liquid gas and then inserted it in the steel tube installed it in the small bottle where we put the gas.

Then lit it up and that's it, we have a lamp!

In this age, our activities during the day can be made in the night because of the newly invented lights. Because of this, many lives in the hospitals are saved every minute and seconds, establishments are progressive, and it is safer to walk in the night.

For several years ago, the first man worshipped the sun that gives light. One day, the Thunder attacked the forest. The fire burnt the trees. Then the man began to invent his own fire who was inspired by the forest fire. He made his own fire by the torch, wood, and stick.

Later, the man knew that the animal fats was helpful to light their world. Animal fats last longer too.

They collected candlefish and the stormy petrel bird. The oils from animal bodies are stuck in the head of stick to make fire.

In Polynesia, the early people used oily nuts in their bamboo sticks. The nuts are burned to the head of the bamboo.

The primary country who displayed torch at the street is the Greece of Antioch. They used tar to cover the torch. It is still the same in the late Middle Ages.

The cavemen used an animal skull to hold the animal oil for producing fire. They sometimes used the shell and shallow stone saucer.

In the Pole region, men killed whales, birds, and fish.

In the warm region nearby equator, they used plants of olives, grape seeds, coconut, nuts, and wricks are created by reeds of plants and fibers.

There are still parts of the world today that use animal oils.

The milk of water buffalo in India is used to make a butter. Then they can make a fire from the butter. Peasants commonly do it.

The poor people in South America use fish oils to fuel their lamp.

The most natural oil to fuel is the rock oil and petroleum recommended by the historians. However, it's bad side is producing the black fog that can mess the wall and ceiling. It has also a bad odor.

Yes I know that you lived in the mountines before. That makes me so sad. To be honest, I can't imagine living there without electricy. Even can't imaging to live without my phone. Btw, did you know that I'm new on Steemit? If you want, you can check my introduciton post :) Btw, you have a wonderful sister :)

Nice read. I like the way you write. Keep on sharing :)

Is this an example of a rag to riches story? (:

Na ambot lang friend maboang guro ang mga tao kung wlay light hehe.

This reminds me of my life when I was a kid living with my grandma on the island. No electricity, everyone has a lamp in their household and the night is just quite, but the bright starts at sky just looks beautiful.I do miss that serenity.

This is a wonderful read. Thank you for this, @lebron2016.

I look forward to more good read from you ^_-
