Ⓜ Before flagging remember you have a MUTE BUTTON! Ⓜ
EVERYONE HAS ONE AND ITS NOT HARD TO USE! If you are really tired of seeing the same posts and blogs, or things being posted you just dont like , or they just dont interest you, im here to remind you that its no reason at all to flag someone for it! Its really only costing you money to flag someone for something you should instead, just mute them ! That way you dont need to see their posts, that offend you in some way, they wont retaliate by then flagging all your stuff, and your doing the right thing by not abuseing the flagging system here on steemit! At least at this time, untill ned and dan , steemit can find a better way in dealing with these flagging abusers!
So please , help out your fellow steemians, by being a better person, and just MUTE! instead of flagging posts you dont agree with! Theres enough abusers making life hard on many steemians as it is, without adding to the problem!
So all you need to do is tap or click on their name at the bottom of their post, and instead of selecting FOLLOW, select MUTE! Its that easy ! Thanks very much everyone and please , lets stick together as a comunity and be as one!

Yes, this is exactly what im saying, thank you! Theres just far to much flaaging going on for no reason, if a person can mute them instead , its just one way to slow down the flagging at least till steemit can deal with it. Thanks for replying! 😉
Yeah but the person who used the flagging button doesn't want anyone else to see your content, it offends them so much so they have to be good ole big brother to do a public service for the community whether they asked them to or not. I imagine that's how religion works some times. : -)
Lol! I love watching Big Brother! Anyways i hear you on the religion, nothing like blocking out everything you dont agree with! Some though are just so mad because they've been flagged so much and reduced to a -4 reputation, for actually doing things wrong like plagerizing, copying and pasting all the time. Most of us learn from our mistakes , and stop doing it! But some would rather revenge flag and just make everyones life miserable! Im sad for those people! All they had to do was apologize from the start at steemitabuse-appeals, fix their problems, and move on! They would be doing really good by now , instead of digging a deeper hole! Anyway i say and i just MUTE people that upset me! Instead of flagging! Much less stress that way! Thanks again for your reply! 😉
No problem, I was saying to another user that one of the utilities of this platform would be one hopes "less trolls under the bridge" that kinda proves my point in away and in another way turns it on it's head so mixed blessings (<--- see what I did there) I guess. Mixing metaphors and analogies are a bad habit of mine all praise the mighty Steem lord!

I'm beginning to lose count with how many people are having this problem with abusive flaggers. I'm really hoping this hasn't affected you, but by the tone of your post, you've been zapped by the trolls. :(
I wish I could find the article link to where the developers stated to the effect that people with less reputation who flag a post will not devastatingly affect your reputation score because their voting power is next to nothing. So worry not and let the idiots roll off your back. They're not worth the angst <3

There is no need for a flag anyway. Just able people to create their own rules for what they see and what they dont. There is no point giving people the ability to choose what others can or cannot see.
If someone comments on your post and you mute them, will their comment still be visible to other steemians? ._.
Im not sure , but I think if you mute them , they are only muted to you including all thair posts and everything else they do ! That way its not bothering YOU Anymore which is why you do it to begin with , others can then mute them too if they don't like it ! To each their own this way . Hope this helps!👍👍👍
