I don't expect staff to have like history knowledge on the subjects but some basic knowledge on what needs to be provided or what needs to be up to standard to give visitors a good experience is enough.
Perhaps not as bad as you are imagining but still they didn't always provide the best of what was needed nor did they seem to noticed or understand how to fix problems.

I agree i wouldn't want to go somewhere and staff dont provide thee basics of a good time i feel ya Simon.
Imagine going to place where the staff dont know or understand the needs and up-keep basics of the equipment that will be used.

That's a good one, yes just like a gym, so imagine you go to use the dumbbells and they only got the weights for the one side and not the other.
Was it really that bad, that is horrible service.
