I have just started using SteemIt last month. Have not reached a monthsary in this platform yet, I am already having troubles which i know newbies or minnows, as we are called here, can relate.

Basically we are full of the Ws and H questions.
The How tos, Wheres, Whens, plus Navigation, Crypto understanding, and without hypocrisy, getting noticed to Earn $$$.

When you read the FAQs and other steemians posts about these questions, and have succeeded in their own struggle to become dolphins or whales, it seems our problens are solved! Eeekk! Wrong answer!

Yes they help us, encourage us and even give us ideas but its their post we upvoted and not the other way around. It does not mean they follow back when you follow them.

If you are used to follow for follow or like for like, then you'll get disappointed here because a lot of steemians are looking for good content. And will not waste an upvote. (steemians i know of and have chatted with)

Minnows posts does not get noticed right away by the dolphins and whales. Do not get upvoted by steemians who have high SP. (a few are)

Dolphins and Whales don't always check new posts but the trending ones as per my observation. I wish they do to help Minnows on their feet.

So as a Minnow, striving is part of the game!
Get noticed as much as possible and be always there checking out posts and I encourage fellow minnows to check new posts from minnows too to help them out.

Another solution I thought of is having topics.
This I noticed are done by the contests I join in like the #colorchallenge and #naturephotography, is one way of putting ourselves out there!

A problem we normally face is having a block.
Not knowing what to post. Not wanting to post uninteresting things to get those coveted upvotes and resteems. Personally, i like comments more so i could interact.

Here is the list that took a week for me to decide what to post on these days.
I will use this from now on, so that I will surpass the block that is there from hindering me to post daily.

**Mystical Mondays - includes but not limited to myth/scary/otherworldly stories & pictures

**Tasteful Tuesdays - includes but not limited to cooking, baking, food tasting, resto reviews, delicacies and beverages

**Wonderful World Wednesdays - includes but not limited to travel, nature/animal/plant photography

**Throwback Thursdays - includes but not limited to past experiences, old photos/stories

**Crafty Fridays - includes but not limited to DIY crafts, arts and paintings

**Surprise Saturdays - anything you can think of or post that does not fit with the categories

**Blessed Sundays - includes but not limited to Christian posts, Bible posts or qoutes and posts that let you consider you are blessed

I will start today with this project. Feel free to join me so we can improve together.
Use hashtags with the corresponding day topic (#blessedsunday).
