My time away from Steemit
Yes, I am back on Steemit from some well deserved rest. Although I have not been posting or keeping up with the latest Steemit developments I have been busy with Steemit in another ways.
So my last post was 9 days ago and the one before that was 14 days ago. Although I was not very active on Steemit the last two weeks, my time away actually had a lot to do with the platform.
I spent some time playing my favorite game Destiny 2, binge watching some TV shows but most of my time was spent on my crypto investments. The idea behind my investments is to try and finally reach that 5000 SP milestone by using my profits and powering up on Steemit. The timing is kinda perfect with the Bitcoin forks and some interesting ICO's.
My time away from Steemit has been well spent resting up and investing in the future although it felt weird after 5 months of regular posting not to post for what felt like a very long time.
I have done a lot of binge watching shows like the Walking Dead and Empire (don't judge...)
November 2017 is an interesting time for crypto and I have decided to gamble on Bitcoin and Dentacoin. I need 1800 SP to reach the 5000 SP milestone and am convinced that these two coins can generate the needed crypto value for me to power up.
Bitcoin has two interesting forks (Bitcoin Gold and Segwit2x) and I am of the opinion that the allure of free coins whatever the value will drive the price up, and up and up....
Dentacoin is an interesting project and although there was some scepticism at the beginning it is now really starting to take off. I made some nice profits after the pre sale and am hoping to do this again after the ICO.
The combined gains from these two investments will hopefully allow me to power up enough to reach that magical 5000 SP mark.
At the moment Bitcoin is killing it, It got me some free Bitcoin gold coins which I am just going to hodl and with the Segwit2x fork coming, it seems that the only way is up. Dentacoins price is a bit disappointing at time of writing and not what I expected. I figure that this has a lot to do with what's going with the Bitcoin forks and my hope is that things will pick up after the hard fork around 16 November. I have high hopes for this coin seeing that the people behind it are trying really hard to make it a success. I feel that the coin is very undervalued and has the potential to become a very succesful cryptocurrency.
My optimism comes from the fact that cryptocurrency and the medical profession are made for each other and as soon as the medical community sees and understands the added value of the blockchain that the coins with medical applications will soar. Dentacoin is one of the first and is also very reasonably priced (for now).
I placed my bets and rolled the dice, if everything goes as planned I will be able to power up around the end of this month, maybe sooner and reach that next level. But now it is time to pick up where I left off and start posting regulary again. Stay tuned.....

yeah, seemed like a good time to chill a little, especially with Steemit acting up. But I see that the site is still having issues. Any news on when the problems will be solved?
I haven't heard a thing. It is a whole lot better though. There was a couple of days when you couldn't do anything. You might also see a lot of duplicate posts. That was a problem for several days as well. People were posting and getting an error message saying the post didn't go through when it did. Stuff like that but that issues seems to have been taken care of.

Nah, no worries. Just needed a little break and had to focus on my crypto investments. I really want to hit that 5000 SP mark for the end of the year :)
