Beyond the info in this video, you basically create posts and get paid out in Steem 24 hours after your post is uploaded. You can then invest or convert that Steem however you wish. Voting is another valuable thing you can do, but I don't know enough to give you solid info on that. There is plenty more resources rapidly becoming available. I am quite new to it.
