Understanding the difference between STEEM, STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLAR and knowing how to Power Up and Power Down

Hi guys,
Today we are going to talk on the meaning and the difference between steem,
steem power and steem dollar dollar and how to power up or power down.

STEEM

Steem is like a cryptocurency, it can be traded like order crypto's.
Is was built under the steem block chain.
Steem is gaining height as it increases daily and become more popular
and strong.

STEEM POWER

Steem power is like the power you have on steemit. Without steem
power, you can not be able to curate other people's post that you
find interesting. Also, steem power helps in up-voting quality contents
as a way of rewarding the author and also serves like a savings account
where part of your rewards are saved.

STEEM DOLLAR

Steem dollar . the steem dollar which can also be called steem backed
dollar can be seen as part of the reward you get for quality content that
you provide either as post or as a video.

POWERING UP

Powering up is another way to increase your steem power capacity.
To be qualified to power up, you must have some steem in your steem
wallet before proceeding.

From the picture shown above, once you have your steem ready, you click on the
drop down menu inline with were the steem is, then you see Transfer,
Transfer to Savings, Power Up, Buy, Sell, Market but for the purpose of this
article, we shall be focusing on Powering up. Select the POWER UP button
and off you go.

POWERING DOWN

In powering down, you go to steem power and in the drop down menu,
you click on steem then a drop down menu shows up as shown in the
picture above which you then select Powr Down and off it goes.

DAYS IT TAKES TO POWER DOWN

To power down all your steem power, it takes three months to make a
successful powering down which can be estimated to a maximum of
thirteen weeks to do that.
Caution: Powering down to me is like losing your pride on steemit, its
not advised to power down because the more your steem power, the
more value you create on the steemit community. However if the need be that
you must power down, then i believe the steps explained above can guide you
do that.
