Possible feature for Steemit: auto-editor and database-access
I actually love the autosave feature! I have tested it where I could close the webpage or have my computer die, and when I reboot back, my work is still there....(facebook, twitter, reddit doesn't do that unfortunately)
Now, what if we could have access to editing information from other posts?
Kinda what google docs calls it collaborators we can it call it contributors. In my head right now, it looks like it can work for educational posts, where fine-tuning the post will only make it more reliable and resourceful. I borrowed this idea from reading the whitepaper,
The Steem community provides the following services to its members:
I. A source of curated news and commentary.
[II. A means to get high quality answers to personalized questions.]
III. A stable cryptocurrency pegged to the U.S. dollar.
IV. Free payments.
V. Jobs providing above services to other members.
Taking the decentralize; open-source experience to the level of editing other peoples work, adding suggestions, and getting it approved from the main branch will allow for a quicker access to highest quality of information. Bottom line is if we adapt a sort of Wikipedian editing system (i.e cooperations) we can achieve that services in a fairly quick time frame.
(Which I forgot to talk about incentivization. This can be third structure that is added from the binary payout mode of author and upvoter. Where we included editors into the mix and have them get paid as well, therefore creating another avenue where people can get paid for continuing to refine the information.)
The second feature is having access to the database, again something done like in Wikipedia. Where we can have access to" the database for mirroring, personal use, informal backups, offline use or database queries"-Wikipedia
What do yall think?
Maybe.
But it takes time
Will it though? Especially if you consider editing as the third way people can get paid in Steemit? (i.e author and upvoter)
