Is today the day Bitcoin cracks 3K?

I've been watching Bitcoin closely, watching the grind in the $2800 and $2900s, violently going up and down while Ethereum smoothly sails past $340. Will it finally go up to 3K?

I think Ethereum benefitted greatly by 2 things, the flash crash of the tech market, investors are looking for alternatives and right now Ethereum looks sexy. And Putin meeting with founders of Ethereum. Putin perhaps is looking out for mother Russia with this, a highly successful coin invented by a Russian could help bolster Russia's economic image. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the push upwards for ETH's price had a lot to do with Putin. Imagine if the Russian state works with Ethereum in some way, it would make the cost per ETH skyrocket way past anyone's wildest dreams. Well, then again I don't know, my dreams are pretty wild ☺ ♥
