"Fair" and "Fare" Post Valuations: Free Markets Ruffle Feathers of "Control + Regulation + Police Policy" Mind Set(s)
Steemit is an Incredible Social Experiment. Challenging the nature of "traditional" market economics of "Control + Regulations + Police Policy". This is stirring the pot of feelings and emotions. It is indeed a myriad of experiences into self-reflection. More or less depth relative to the individual Steemer and their participation in the new Ecosystem.
"Fair" Post Valuation
This is a hot topic kind of..
People believe in high quality content and think that inferior quality content should not be rewarded...and that the 'actual' best content should be rewarded the most. Funny thing here is that the "quality of content" is entirely subjective. Obviously there is commonalities in many instances that can be used to "judge", "Critique", "Grade", "score" the Condition of the Content. The scoring system...Barometer of Measurement is again subjective to each Individual/Subject Here.
It's not a Sharing Here to "Get", It's a Sharing Here, Because you "Got it" to Give and You Value it.
- This is a kind of backwards way of thinking and living. So much so that it is not commonly programmed into us - because we are always 'driving around to get stuff'...modern society and consumerism reflections in our general behaviors and is underlining of our unconscious thinking. This attitude is a Paradigm Shift from living in survival mode to moving into a Living that is beyond mere Survival. The joy of Sharing what we Got to Give.
It's a Sharing Here, Because We got it to give and we Value this Life-Style
"Fare" Post Valuations:
Skin in the Game...
Our very participation here is "skin in the game". Granted, there exists many ways to, "up the ante" as to our "skin in the game". This of course means: Our Sharing Expressions here. Who we Are as: Creators...Investors...Advisors...Educators...Teachers...Students...Players...Broadcasters...Networks..Human Beings...Life...Giver...Taker...Receiver...Maker...Explorers...Care Takers...Bakers and Shakers. Emphasis here is our Fare for Being Here. Each one decides this individually. What Value we Got for Being Here. And so we Share accordingly.
- Free Market is a very cool thing - it is a point of Voting Support - There is obviously a lot of ways to play and work with voting support. It is obviously of Best Interests to Support: Overall Growth Development and Maturity in Diversification. Being Rich in Cultures is the Ultimate Permaculture.
Permaculture is the Best Bio-Diversity because it is efficient and effective mass movement and it's an added sum game. Menaing, the total sum is greater than the sum of the individual players.
Steemit is a World Class Playground that is Rich in Cultures. How we as Cultures of Bacteria in a way grow and Network will determine the Evolution of Our Best Growth and Maturity Here.
- We've only begun to flirt with the best potential ideas and directions here to support the expansion of Awesomeness...which is Awesomeness in and of itself.
I think your thoughts here are great. I would encourage you to give the post a "where do we go from here" section since it feels like a call to action. It's missing a punch at the end to drive your point home. How do you think we can most effectively take advantage of the rich playground and make the most of our long term opportunities?
Enjoyed your thoughts. Keep up the good work.
Thank you - I really appreciate your additions here:
Stay Tuned for a follow up. Thanks again for the encouragement and Structure in direction. Grateful.
I'll be tuned in for sure!
I really liked how you pointed out the fact that whether a post is perceived to be of value or not is entirely subjective. I also really appreciated you pointing out how the free market structure will determine the fair value of a thing. There is a little scuffle going on right now about this on the platform that I think is extremely short sighted and petty.
Steemit has to be a place for all, not just bloggers who are focused on providing quality content. As soon as Steemit attached it's self to Steem, a digital currency, it immediately made it's self a financial instrument. Steemit needs to be an equal opportunity playing field comprised of content creators and investors. Without one, the other doesn't exist. This is something that I feel isn't being thought about enough.
If Steemit runs all of it's investors off, they'll be left with a coin and platform that simply won't be worth much. There's been amazing ideas that we've never heard of simply b/c it didn't have the necessary financial backing to reach the masses. The bloggers aren't where the money resides, it's with the investors, and so taking this into consideration and taking a long term investing approach in regards to Steemit, you can easily see that the most valuable aspects of Steemit do not lie in the blogging part of the enterprise, but weights much more heavily in the video and micro blogging aspects which are Dtube and Zappl. The technology of these two advances is what will bring the necessary capital into the platform for long term sustainable growth. If we look at Steemit with a shrewd business eye, we can easily see the petty arguments going on now over what others are doing with their votes is not really that important, the important thing is to build a business that solves problems for many users.
Great post as always brother and a great topic to discuss. This is where users with business backgrounds can help out the community in a big way going forward.
Great Post Brother - You make a lot of good points.
This is a huge point. It's like a community collective process of figuring out what this is - how this best works - and how we can participate in ways that are mutually beneficial.
With the subjective scuffles on post valuations and individual participations - i think we miss the point of playing around here...what socializing is all about.
I like the reference to Steemit and steem being like using 'financial instruments'. The very nature of the model in this regard can be simplified into the point/goal of "communication". Steemit is a medium for communication.
It is in individuals best interest to use the medium in ways that support an individuals lifestyle.
It's such an interesting social experiment here - because everyone....everything is indeed important in the total sum of all the parts here. The short sightedness is in adopting a polarized view about something...and getting fixated upon it. The big vision is in seeing the interconnectedness of all these key points you make mention of!
Stellar Comment Brother
Really is interesting to witness and be a part of. Good post.

I think the key is to be the change we want to see in our world. Treat others how we wish we were treated. Everyone you meet is somewhere on their journey. Some are farther ahead then others. I try to see people where they are yet treat them as if they were where they could be. Everyone you encounter is better then you are in some area of their life. The problem is that it isn't always obvious. "If you treat a man as he is then he will stay the same. Yet if he treat a man as he could be you give his room to grow." I have more quotes in my head then I can remember the origin of. I was not smart enough to come up with that, but it's a very good quote :) Leaders rise to high levels not by raising themselves but by being raised up by others. Therefore if you serve enough people, then people will raise you up. I love the idea you are sharing. :)
