Blurt Real Time Cost of Living Indicator: Pineapples!
Hey there friends from all over the globe! The previous Cost of Living Indicator item was one whole chicken. From @leprechaun we learned that in Argentina it costs about the same as in Thailand where I am, about $3.50, however @hangin living in Jomtien Thailand it's even less expensive, about $3.00 and it's roasted, where in his home country of Australia the same bird can cost as much as $25!
From @leifasaur out of Ghana Africa, a chicken costs about $5, but he lives in one of the most expensive spots in that part of the world, which is currently dealing with hyperinflation. @neycor explains that a chicken in Venezuala costs about $6 dollars; while the cheapest chicken of all comes out of Turkey for $2.86 compliments of @foryoubtc.
In conclusion, most places around the globe you can get a chicken for about $5 dollars give or take a little bit; however some places like Australia that is not the case. If you'd like to learn more about the real time prices of a whole chicken from around the world compliments of the awesome Blurt contributors you can see more in the comments of the post here.
I think we should report prices per kilogram.
