5 Reasons why Steemit is going to surpass Reddit
1 - Steemit is evolving very fast to a stable platform
You could see it in the past month, they improved every aspect of this blogging platform
2 - Users that joined this platform are really interested in the project
They are curious, but also want to partecipate actively in it.
3 - Numerous services came out to side-service this blogging platform
SteemitChat: A chat where relax with other steemians
Steem.ly: link shortener for SteemIt
SteemImg: An alternative image hosting where you can upload your pictures for your SteemIt posts.
4 - Friends
You can meet many friends on here, and build a stronger bond between you and your readers.
5 - Rewards
Last but not least, the rewards of Steem, SteemDollars and SteemPower, all three together are made for keeping a bond in the Steem Blockchain.
"Users that joined this platform are really interested in the project" - or just want to get rich very fast by copypasting content.
The amount of bs posts and circle jerk in this site is incredible and could be one of the reasons of its demise or decline.
Well, I'm talking of honest people that really want to use this as a real platform, not a moneygrabbing gold mine
"Money for posting" sounds pretty much like "money for free", how many people attracted by this opportunity could be classified as "honest"?
Well, there are many services out there that pays you to write articles, but this is guided by people, not by the owners that says for example, 1 article 5 bucks.
There are always people who tries to break the system and get more than they deserve.
I think Steemit will have a better chance of doing that only if their improve its UI/UX and add more options. The way it is laid out is too "blog" oriented which I find a little dated and lame as a concept.
If you ask me I think it should take some more notes from Youtube/Facebook than Reddit...
