You talk about curation bots.

A bot is going to be a force multiplier for whomever is buying it to maximize their rewards. Training with a neural net and using machine learning is pretty implicit in this design.

There is also a recommendation engine for personal use, that's a bit less intelligent. It analyzes topic, but also checks for who that is socially similar to you has already interacted in with it and assumes you'll generally react similarly.
