RE: Whales On Steemit Should Act Like Talent Agents
See and thats just it, we dont need to act 100% independant of financial rewards though. We just need to also upvote content that we enjoy. My follow feed consists of both high paying artists (which get switched out as the whales come and go) and then theres a permanent section of lower paying posts from peole I truly enjoy. Those people I never switch out, and eventually Id like my feed to consists solely of those individuals, its just at the moment if I only followed the people I actually like then my curation rewards would be alot lower. So for now I follow artists I don't really enjoy but in the future im hoping to soley follow artists I enjoy, hopefully most will be high paying.
As for the potential t devalue the currency, I totally agree I think a big reason steem is falling is because most are holding SP but there's a small percent that bought in from the beginning and are still making a profit selling. They are very small amount of us, I believe 2%, give or take, and when they are done selling the majority will be held instead of being sold and at that time I believe we will see a nice reversal in price. Once that small percent selling is sold out I don't see to many others powering down extensively to sell immediately.
I hope you are right!
