The 10 Most Visited Websites in the World

In our modern society, we spend most of our time on the internet. As we start the new year, it is important that we know where we spend most of that time. Found from a Morning Brew article, the list of the top 10 most-visited websites is as follows:

Many of the websites to make this list are not surprising. Google, the primary search engine; Youtube (Dtube's competitor!) the most popular video sharing website; Baidu, China's google... You get the idea.

What caught my eye was Reddit, the internet media website. I had not noticed how popular this website came to be. It had breached the top 25 most visited sites a couple years ago and now it is much closer to actually being the "front page of the internet."

Many people refer to Steemit as the "Decentralized Reddit" and this can be taken as quite the compliment. Looking at Reddit's strong community, this should only inspire Steemians to want to cultivate a similar and stronger community. Reddit being in the top 10 most visited websites in the world shows that Steemit has a bright future!

For 2018, let's make Steemit one of the most visited websites of the year!
