You have a genuine concern, waiting for developers to come here and reply. If they have to cheat people they probably would not have posted the "all accounts have been refunded" post.
From a socially paranoid perspective, it's a perfect excuse to post it.
To get the people who were unsure on investing, to invest.
To make the ones who were cashing out, reconsider...
