Crypto currency and social Media: The next big step!

We are living in exciting times!

We are on the verge of transitioning from an economy that is based on oil, labour and finance to a free energy, leisure based economy on crypto currency. Bitcoin and block chain have paved the path by installing a sense of credibility towards bitcoin in the average person and by thus attributing a sense of value to bitcoin. Regardless of the scepticism that exists with the general public, there is value there as well. And that’s a big step.

The biggest problem hurdle for crypto currency is that the average Joe is interested, but not able to get them. Only buy them. Which gives the feeling you are buying something similar to shares.

Linking crypto currency to social media and paying people for creating and viewing content changes all that. Now there is a way to actually earn crypto currency like Steem by doing something that you are already doing every day anyway. Spending time on Social Media and adding content & attention.

In the near future, by average we will work only a few hours per week. What we do in our free time will be what is valued and rewarded. Crypto currency bridges the gap between transactions and relations and gives value to social interaction.
How long will it take before my neighbour post her morning coffee and daily greetings to make her first Steem of the day? Probably when Facebook either incorporates Steemit or introduce something similar themselves.

How many Steemit accounts are there going to be a year from now? That’s what’s important.

This snowball needs to be going downhill in order to get bigger exponentially. Share the story, proclaim that history is in the making, talk to everybody and resteem this message.
