Every Blog I Write I Think... "This Is The One"
Every time I post a new blog on Steemit, I think... "This is the one. The one that will go viral." It doesn't matter that it hasn't happened yet... I think that the mentality is correct, although I might be slightly delusional.

Let's face it, there is a lot of junk posts on Steemit. People posting a memes of Bitcoin jumping off a cliff into a pool of Ripple shark. Just stupid. So many random crypto charts with even more random price predictions... EOS at $105 by September. Steem at $55. Bitcoin one million.
Even though there area lot of junk posts, most of the post that do well are incredibly insightful and entertaining. I never knew I was that interested in Cambodian hand fishing. There are so many good writers and content creators on Steemit that it can be a little intimidating when you're starting out. That is why my mentality is to try write a great post each time. I have the same mentality with my wife, but often dissapoint too... but Steemit is different. Right?
Whenever I post, if I don't feel like it could go viral, then I don't post it. I want to put good content out on Steemit and I spend a lot of time coming up with things to write about and try to add my own perspective to it.
I take my time with the headline. The headline is like the pick up line. If that doesn't work, you're not getting any views. I'm not that great at formatting, but I do try to make it easier for the reader.
Every time I post, I really do think, "This is the one."
If I don't feel like my latest post is good then, I just keep moving on. For example, I write at least a poem a day, but I don't always share them on Steemit. The only ones I share are the ones that I think are good. That have potential to be shared and upvoted. I don't want to just post to be posting and trust me... some of them suck.
There are some great Steemonians who support me, @nanzo-scoop, @sc-steemit and @jasonbu are my three biggest. It would be a major disservice to them if I just post junk posts. I doubt they would support me much longer if I don't put a lot of effort into making great posts and just blogged images of my feet all day. On a side note, you should go follow those guys... they are awesome. They never post about feet.
So, as I hit "post" on this one, I'm thinking this could the one. It most likely won't be, but at least I feel confident in the message and the perspective I am trying to bring to the table.
Really that is what we all should be doing. Just trying to put out our best work and add to the platform. If we keep doing that... one day... one post will go viral and it'll all be worth it.
Have a great day and Steem on.
Thank you for reading.

I know it is best to name the big guys who support you.
However, here it comes, this little gal originally from Texas has been riding shotgun to you for quite some time.
You say
My thoughts when I post
I hope at least 3 people see this one. Haha! Happy Memorial Day @walkingkeys
I am making the crummy posts and enjoying every minute of it while reading really fun posts like yours.
I have to admit I am a better everything for being a part of this.
Uh-oh, this sounds kind of like a troll, but you know I am just having fun with you.
You are 100% right! You've been down since day one!!!! Ride or die! You are awesome. I also think your reply is hilarious. hahahaha. I hope you have a great day. I'm going to shoot over to your page and add some love.
LOL, goes through my head everytime too... You spend hours and put in so much research, sometimes. I don't know, I think for those of us that work hard on content, we should get a "bye" and be allowed a 'shit' post that gets huge upvotes - just 'cause.
Always making great content
You always seem to make a great post, in my opinion, and that's why I keep supporting you. Your topics are always interesting and your opinion is sincere.
However, I'm sure you would be able to make a post about feet equally interesting 😁
Keep doing what you do, and I'm sure the next post is the one!
I like parley because it makes making shitty posts much easier for the author.
