Steemit : Great Satisfaction Comes From Sharing With Others

It's supposed to be a simple, farewell breakfast with my dear friend before she leaves to Manila for her new job as an International Labor Relation Specialist in one of the top company in Makati City.

It was then I asked her if she’s realized that I spent less time on Facebook. To my surprise, she said she knows that I’ve been spending more times now with Steemit. I asked her how did she knows about steemit? Apparently, she saw one of my pictures that I shared in Instagram with a tag #steem on.

That is when she asked me what is Steemit. Explaining to her is so easy. She gets how Steemit works and without further delayed, she registered herself on the spot and now waiting for her password.

I remembered when she asked me why only now I told to her about Steemit? Well, since she was busy preparing herself to move in to another city, I think it was inappropriate for me to tell her at that moment. I knew when she’s decided to accept the new job at a different country is too much to digest. Taking that big leap and venturing to a new place seems too much to handle in a short period of time. And that’s what I thought.

She seems to be a little upset why I don’t tell her earlier about this social media platform where everyone gets a monetary reward when someone gets upvoted and I totally understand why she’s upset for not telling her earlier.

My pitch is very simple.

One thing for sure, she will definitely write about her upcoming adventures and experience living in a new environment while surrounded by new people, immersed in new cultures, and exposed to new ideas and possibilities.

We parted our ways with a big hug and great satisfaction in my heart. It is true what they said, great satisfaction comes from sharing with others.

I am truly happy for her and I can’t wait to read her adventures on Steemit.
