Steemit - Till when is the beta

Just got a thought looking at the steemit website.. .We are all the early members of steemit.. and the site says it is in beta version.. when will it be launching ?? ..

What are the plans of future for steemit..

    Most of the members usually got upset steemit is just for earning that y if steemit.com is upgrade by adding PRIVATE msg room. Reset/forgot password etc then steemit will go high
