I noticed the same when using Dmania, for some reason Dmania does not see Steemit's publications, but Steemit if he sees Dmania's, it looks like spam and incongruous when you use Steemit.
I still use it, but only in very specific cases.
They are using a filter method, in zappls case we filter off app signing
