I am in that same boat @smartlegend so feel your pain. There are so many incredibly great posts on Steemit that our little votes now do not go very far. BUT, now we can set our goal to at least making more SP to make our votes hold a little more weight.

One of our lovely Steemian friends explained to me that we will see a boost in our voting ability when we hit 500SP so that is my target now. (Although I've not found a second confirmation for that quote of 500SP being the tipping point)
