SPAM followers
I made as posting and within seconds I had 8 new follower:
Only they are not really follower. I know there kind by now. No Avatar, no background picture, 25 reputation, all postings are random youtube videos. I guess there is not much to be done about it apart from ignoring users without an avatar and meaningless username.
That seems common, though they are often not immediatly noticably different than people which just consume conntent and maybe comment. Some obvious bots will follow accounts even before they post anything. Not really a problem at least unless you are in the UK and your account can be tied to you and they decide becouse bots follow you you are influential and thus have to be punished with 5 years of prison for being offensive ;)
GABs “Remove user from following your” feature might become very useful for UK user.
