If you're a mobile steemit user, life just got easier with the new steemit app 'Steemify' for iOS

I've only been using the app since yesterday but I'm quite pleased with it so far and just had to get the word out.

So here's how it works. You tap the settings and enter your username and add it. Additionally you can add your friends or anyone on steemit for that matter to see notifications for them.

Here's what it looks like after I added a few steemians to my list.

Ok so now that I did that, I can now customized the 'steemifications' I'd like to receive.

To edit simply tap on yourself and you'll see all the steemit actions you can get notified on.

similarly you can customize the notifications you get from any individual you add to your 'steemifications' group.

Ok so that's done. Now I play the waiting game...........

Probably like 20 - 30 minutes later I got my first notification in the lockscreen

What I like about the notifications 'steemifications', you can see the weight on any upvote you received. I appreciate an upvote no matter how much weight is behind it, but it's neat to see regardless.

Something really cool happened last night thanks to this app. I got to witness my newest post blow up before my eyes.

Steemifications were cascading my lockscreen in seconds. It was a cool and exciting experience. Couldn't have been timed any better.

Now here's the kicker.

The feature that will make the difference for mobile users. You can use steemit in the app.

That's right!

Just tap on any Steemification to interact in steemit.

You're prompted to sign in first and now you are using steemit.

Here my steemit bud made a new post.

Tapping on the steemification and it takes me right to his post.

That's all the goodness I have to share with you on this app.

Now for just a couple negatives.

• No notification for when you have any rewards to collect.
• No badges on the app when you have unopened notifications. So if I missed any notification from Steemify, I'm not going to know that I missed it until I go into the app to look through my notifications.

2 very minor downsides to the app. But ones that can easily be improved on with a future app update.
