Why Do I Have Steem Power in Parentheses?
I'm new to Steemit, and I'm loving it. But I can't help but see that I have a certain amount of Steem Power and then below it, I have another amount in parentheses. My guess is this will be added to the top amount after the initial 7 days are over and then I will just have one amount.
Can anyone affirm that this is correct?
When you created your account, they "delegated" some extra steem power to your account to help your votes "matter" more. The SP in parenthesis is power you are currently using, but you can't trade or sell it.
very helpful, thank you. The amount of (+ SP) depends on what? I got around +27 others got over +100 but signed months earlier than i. It drives me a little crazy how it will determined? Is the number declining the more new users are signed in?
Gotcha, will it ever be a part of the total that I can trade or sell?
I am not sure, I believe the amount new accounts are allocated has to do with the price, it is possible others that have 100 or more have rented someone's SP.
No, once your account gets to a certain size, I believe it will be reallocated to another "new user" account. Consider it a loan, until you make your own SP.
Ok thank you :)
@whatsup i hope this is correct info , i was trying to search similar articles , but you guys are here for longer time than me . Thanks For Info buddy
This was a veru good explenation. Normally people get me lost in technical stuff.
I don't know, I've asked the same question since I started on Steemit, I'll be reviewing this post in case some one knows the response!
I reposted this because 3 hours ago nobody knew. Maybe I will post again tonight when more people are likely to be on.
