So today I noticed something very interesting.
There are several apps that take advantage of the blockchain and the steemit platform to provide a Instagram like interface.

I was really amazed and extremely happy to jump in.

The app is amazing! You get a near Instagram like experience and it's mainly only for photos.

The application is integrated directly into the steemit platform and is amazing, really amazing.
But sadly before jumping in I noticed a small flaw in the way it works.

So everything seems fine when you are using the app really but once you post a picture you get an article post on the steem platform that contains only one picture and a title.

So at the end you flood the feed with under cover posts containing only pictures.

I think that it would be an amazing feature to add a standalone gallery section in the profile page, working on the same principle as the normal post, upvotes and sharing.
The only difference being that it's specific for pictures only.

Photography

Most photographers aren't essay writers. I see a lot of people trying to showcase their pictures but sadly it seems as if they are forced to add huge descriptions so it doesn't lack in content.

The gallery would allow photography to take a new page here on the platform and will benefit pro Photographers. It can even be an amazing portfolio page showing the income and rep of the person .
