If all of a sudden thousands or hundreds of thousands of users would start storing their images into steemimg, it would go over the quota and useless very fast. In the case of a dedicated high end server it would be the same. You need to scale, otherwise your business dies. There's a reason for why Imgur needed 40M in funding. Secondly, how do you monetize the business ? There are countless of issues
