Some usability tweaks here and there and steemit will fly pass reddit, stackoverflow, tumblr, etc. For two simple reasons:
- time is money and if people spend their time doing something, then it would be nice to get some money for it
- Steemit is actually explainable to a soccer mom who only knows how to use facebook
