Is it possible for articles that could get published by the most prestigious news papers or online magazines...

...to be published on Steemit? To some it would seem that the decentralized nature of Steemit would discourage work that requires to be looked at by a professional editor or reviewed by a number of peers, but open access publications seem to challenge this notion. What do you all think?
