RE: Luck of the Irish... ;)

I Know, Right??? :D
These retail for around $140 each, saved myself at least $3500 or more...
But I have to invest some elbow grease, and sweat equity ;) Maybe buy
some acid to top them off. The rejuvenator can make them better than
new, if I get them back to working order. LAB's are great for this, the new
charging process uses high voltage pulsed DC and it basically nano-assembles
the plates and they can hold a higher voltage and ampacity. 25% gains after
a few cycles are very common!

sweat equity is usually the best kind! If I'm interpreting that correctly thats sounds like some pretty solid gains out of those batteries and makes it even more worth your time!

Yes, a 25% gain in ampacity means 25% longer run times.
With the same load, of course. My home is mostly LED lighting and pretty energy efficient, so I suspect I can do well with just this bank of 26 provided I get them all working. The 2 big 220v AC chargers can get the bank back up quickly once grid power returns, but I suspect I will just use those for parts. There were 2 more of the big chargers, but I was totally loaded down! LOL

Awesome! I've started slowly moving to LED bulbs, and I mean very very slowly, just bought my first 2 and will try and replace all of them in the house eventually.

I just put in 3 more after our last exchange, thanks for the motivation!
I keep the old CFL's, even the burned out ones. There is a very, VERY Old TESLA Driver Circuit for fluorescents, that is even more efficient than the LEDs! You can power a CFL for about .333W and when you add the second CFL, one would think 2/3W, right? NO! It is actually about .4W for both! Imagine lighting a whole house for ONE WATT! The "burned out CFL" is really not dead, it has these little filaments in each end. Those burn out and the bulb is useless with the on board, inefficient driver circuit, but the Tesla Driver uses one side of the lamp as (+) and the other as (-) so unless the bulb is cracked or broken, it can still work! The T-Driver boosts voltage to around 200,000 VDC and actually glows brighter than the regular CFL. That Nikola Tesla really had his stuff together! ;)
