Education has been one of the bedrocks on which many countries' development rest. A nation without its members educated seems to be in great havoc. This has made lots of leaders in most countries invested so much into improving the education system of their country. The same is seen here in Ghana and most African countries.

Ghana as a developing country has made a good effort to ensure the proper growth of its educational system. Of all the many efforts made by the country, it still looks as if nothing really is done to that effect. Here I share with the world a survey which lately took place here in the country and see its significant effect on the nation's growth.

After the survey, it was found out that few pupils in the primary schools of Ghana can read with proficiency. That is to say, they have a low level of competency and proficiency in reading the English language which is among their course of study. This is however seen most with the pupils of primary two. It is more with a lot of rural areas here in Ghana which was the place under study. This l think is seen in many places here in Ghana and Africa.

The question now is, what then could be the cause of this sad atmosphere that is created here in some developing countries. Is there any significant effect on their growth as a nation? These are issues that we seek to address here in Ghana with a good solution to the effect. We really can make things better with the children we have if we really want it that way. Stay glued as I share with you more of updates here in Ghana.

It is so sad to know this. African leaders do not take into consideration some of these things. Thanks for sharing.

Its pathetic that Ghanaian leaders are only interested in capturing power than prioritising the welfare of the citizens after winning. We must be agents of positve change. Thanks for the insightful thiughts

It is mostly with African leaders.
