Lucksacks News : New Rep Required and an Introduction to Guaranteed Tournaments!

In order to register and play at Lucksacks.com you will now need to have a Reputation of 35 instead of 30. This change comes for many reasons, however the most important thing to remember is that SPL is the STEEM Poker League. Part of why SPL was formed was in order to bring positive additions to the Steemit platform, and in order to continue doing this, we decided to raise the minimum Rep required. So post, comment and grow the Steemit Community, Poker Peeps!

Guaranteed Tournaments

We have recently added new tournament types, and one question that popped up recently was about the newly introduced “Guaranteed” Tournaments.

In a Guaranteed tournament, the prize pool is based on the number of players/buy ins but is guaranteed to have at least the specified amount available for the winners. For instance, here is the 5 SBD Guaranteed highlighted:

This tournament has a maximum of 60 seats and a minimum of 6. Each buyin is 0.5 chips, so if the minimum amount of players sit down, the prize pool would be 3 SBD’s, however this is a 5 SBD Guaranteed, therefore the prize pool starts at 5 SBD’s even if only the 6 players sit.
The prize pool gets as big as the number of buyin’s, so the maximum this prize pool could be is 60 x 0.5 which is 30 SBD!

Updated Rules!

Have and KEEP a Reputation on Steemit of 35 or higher
Must be an actual, active member of the Steemit
You must have a valid, appropriate introduction post, with a picture and a date, to show that you are in fact a real live person. If you don’t want to show your face, fine, be creative, just make sure we know you’re an actual person in the here and now
Register at lucksacks.com and MAKE SURE your email address AND your Steemit name are correct
