I missed the counter already even tho I can see the potential of people abusing it as it can be increased by refreshing the page. So now I cannot determine which type of content people prefer more. As most of my content is now on Dlive, I use that counter as a guide for the last few days

You're right, luckily the view counters of other Steem applications are still working correctly.
It'd be great to have them installed on the whole blockchain...
