Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from Me to You

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays
This is my first Christmas & Winter Holiday Season on Steemit and I am so excited about it. I have had a wonderful time so far in 2017 with all of the amazing people I have met thus far and look forward to meeting so much more in the future.
Here are a couple of photos of my day so you can share along with me.
This is the Christmas Tree in my house. We decorated it pretty much right after Thanksgiving in the USA but just wanted to share a picture as this is how my house looks right now since this is my delightful tree.
The little mini Winter village I have on display in the entryway hallway of my home. It is a nice little area that is quite festive but doesn't take up too much space. There is even Santa on a sleigh going through town.
This is my reindeer. Well, to be fair it is my major reindeer as I do have a few, but this is one that has tea light candles on top and sits in the middle of my dining room table. I like him because he has this proudness and strength about him. Plus I have pretty little candles sitting near his feet that are all sparkly.
Santa is coming! So, it's time to make cookies
I have been making cookies for quite a bit today. I made chocolate chip cookies, which are not pictured, but these are my other set. These are sugar cookies. These always take a bit more time but my daughter has been helping me make all of the cookies today. These are cut into the shapes of snowflakes. In a few minutes, since they have cooled down enough now, we will be whipping up a batch of homemade icing for the tops of the cookies and decorating them. I am interested to see what color(s) my daughter chooses for us to make the icing because she has pulled out about 4-5 tubes of food coloring. We shall see and perhaps I will post a picture later of the finished masterpieces.

I love that reindeer, wow he looks like a big boy. Where do you store him when it's not Christmas?
As you know, Christmas for me can be summed up with one word. Ham.
Haha oh, the ham. It's funny he isn't as big as he looks. I mean he is a good size but ya he is stored in a box with his girlfriends (who are not pictured) in our garage.

Glad you got back home safe and sound. We just finished watching a Christmas movie before bed. I chose The Santa Clause, used to be one of my favorites.
