Upvoted, Those are pretty much the exact reasons why I joined about a week ago. Especially the part about Facebook. I thought Facebook sucked when I first joined it, but I went along because everyone else was. I still think Facebook sucks. I got banned from advertising for a very simple mistake (after months of spending outrageously high advertising rates), and when I tried to appeal, all I got was a canned cut and paste message. Every reply back to them was the same exact response. Facebook doesn't care about their advertisers at all. Then just yesterday I saw a spam fake account with a sponsored post promoting some viagra type thing, totally against Facebook compliance and they had already a reach of 318,000. So they ban me from advertising over a very simple mistake that I was more than willing to correct to be in compliance, and yet they still have real spammers blatanly abusing the system. I hope and pray that Steemit crushes Facebook. This is a mission for me.
