This article is controversial but it is true we have been on steemit for nothing at all. Steem is a very hi-tech cryptocurrency that will soon be use and widely accepted. THE PROBLEM IS WE TRADE STEEM TOO MUCH!!! We trade steem for Ethereum , Bitcoin, and Ripple Which devalues Steem. Whales dump their cash or steem and the company suffers and the coin. Steems prices is so low it is easily obtainable on the other hand Bitcoin is worth more than gold. Steem could be worth money but when whales cash out steem looses value.
To wrap things up, stop cashing your steem dollars out because we are ultimately killing the platform. Also follow me @tomahawk429 and upvote my articles.

That may be a part of the problem of low steem value, but we all need to make Steem desirable like Bitcoin, and an easier process to purchase.

The whales who have invested in the platform (not those who mined steem before launch), have the right to power down for whtasover reason. While it further devalues steem, the focus shouldn't be on the whales powering down but rather on how to incentivizes powering up. Why should I buy steem? How will I benefit from powering up? What plans are there to improve the steemit platform. How long will it take? Why would people adopt steem other than other altcoins?
The amazing thing about building a social media platform on the blockchain, is that it opens a gateway for exposing the rest of the world to cryptocurrencies. Some people will learn about steem and sbd before they've ev heard the word "bitcoin" . I believe steemit will play a significant role in exposing the rest of the world to adaptation and to the benefits of cryptos and the its inderlying distributed ledger tech.
