If and only if people will do things the right way then the world will be a better place to stay in. At the long run, hard work in addition with consistency always yield good result but due to impatience, greed, laziness and even wickedness some people device means just to defraud and extort money from people who worked really hard to get it.

Steemit was created with a major feature of transparency added to it. This feature was not only aimed at revealing people's wallet but it also grants all users of this platform a chance to see through other people's work in other to get motivation and improve on their own work. But i guess this is not still enough for those perpetrators that are bound on using a shortcut to get money from this platform.

If only i knew about this fraudulent act some months ago, then i will still be using the very first account i used in joining steemit.

SAY NO TO FOES LIKE FRIENDS.

When i just joined back then, i was just writing post and nothing was forthcoming. When i was about giving up, i stumbled upon a site where i was asked to register using my steemit details and i am to get upvotes from them. It started well although the upvote was little and i did not really mind because i felt it was better than the $0 i was getting. As time went on, I was becoming better and I started earning more cash. I had saved about 20 SBDs. One fateful day, i tried logging into the account but my access was denied. I tried this for days but it was not still working then i decided to check the account using a friend's account. To my greatest surprise, my wallet was zero.. It was been transferred to the account of the so-called helping hands website. That was how i lost it and i stopped steeming for 8months before i came back

A DECEITFUL PLEA FOR HELP

Some people on this platform has decided to use people's weakness for deceitful means. Due to the fact that they have noticed the generosity among steemians, they device fraudulent means to ask people for money. For example lying about a sick family or been unable to pay school fees. This act is only tarnishing the image of the sincere ones. A colleague of mine in class just thought of how to make more money on this platform so he decided to pull a stunt on one of the top guys on this platform but luckily, he did not fall for the bait.

EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER

"Once bitten twice shy" this adage was never a mistake because it make you a wiser person. 1 SBD might look very small to you but remember it means a lot to someone else. My friend @shunguystin will forever be grateful for helping him save his 1SBD from the hungry hands of a fraudster on steemchat. Been an upvote seeker, he was desperately searching for votes so he was gullible to any scam that came his way. He came across a guy on steem chat with the name sneaky-ninja who promised to upvote him with 20$ worth of vote with the sum of 3SBD. He gave me a screenshot of a fake account with alot of steem-power and then gave me an account to send the SBD to. I told him to ensure the authenticity of the person and that was how we discovered a rat. I checked his details out and discovered he was a scam and so we did not send it. Before we knew it, he blocked my friend.

How i wish people can just sincerely work hard and make a good name for themselves.

Steemit is big enough for everyone to fly the key is HARDWORK and CONSISTENCY
